Supporting Systems — The Supporting Systems layer of the BEF addresses operational infrastructure, team structure, and delivery systems. It focuses on creating processes that allow the business to deliver consistently without founder dependency in day-to-day execution.

Supporting Systems is the second layer — the operational infrastructure that allows a service business to deliver consistently without the founder in the room for every decision. At this layer, the question shifts from "can we make money?" to "can the business make money without me running every engagement?"
