What it is: a 1:1 strategy relationship. Tristan applies the Business Evolution Framework to your specific situation — your stage, your situation, your numbers. Every session has a pre-brief so the time is spent on decisions, not context-setting.

Between sessions you have direct access via Slack or voice memo. The conversations you've been putting off are the ones we have first.

  • Week 3 · Strategy call 60 min. Review commitments. Adjust. Cross-portfolio insight: what comparable businesses did.

    I review & reply

    If there's potential fit, you get a calendar link within 2 business days (AEST). If not a fit, I tell you why and where to look instead.

    15-minute intro call

    Google Meet. Quick fit check — I ask the questions that matter, you ask yours. No pitch, no pressure. Confirms whether The Bearings Call is worth both our time.

  4. Step 04

    The Bearings Call

    Full BEF mapping. We map your business to the BEF, map the core problem, and sketch the 90-day starting point. You leave with clarity whether we work together or not.

  5. Step 05

    If we're a fit, we start

    Agreement in your inbox. We pick a tier, start the following week. 6-month minimum; month-to-month after.

Tier-specific questions.

Can I start on Fortnightly and switch to Weekly later?
Yes. Most clients start Fortnightly. A few move up to Weekly when they hit a high-pressure phase — take-off, post-crisis rebuild, pre-exit prep. The switch happens at a calendar boundary. Switching back down works the same way.
What if the coaching isn't working?
The 6-month minimum is real but it isn't a lock-in trap. If after 3 months the work isn't moving the needle, we have a frank conversation: adjust the cadence, adjust the focus, or call it. I don't drag relationships out. After the 6 months you're month-to-month with one month's notice — no exit fees, no clawbacks.
When do clients typically see results?
First 90 days: the buffer, the cash discipline, the operating cadence. Months 4–6: the structural moves — Foundation locked, Systems layer started. Months 6–12: the Triad work, where the revenue and margin movement shows up. Anyone selling you "results in 30 days" is selling you something else.
Do I pay GST? Can I invoice through my company?
Yes, all prices are + GST. Invoiced monthly through Evolve to Grow Pty Ltd, payable into your company's accounts payable. Stripe credit card or direct deposit, your call. Tax receipt every month.
I'm outside Australia. Does that work?
Yes — all sessions over Google Meet. Current clients in Singapore, NZ, and across Australia. I match your timezone for the recurring slot. No GST is charged on services delivered outside Australia. Invoices in AUD.
How is this different from The Business Read?
Coaching is an ongoing relationship — minimum 6 months, building and executing the BEF roadmap across the business. The Business Read is a standalone paid product: you share your finances, answer ~100 questions, AI maps your stage and priorities, Tristan walks through it with you for an hour, and you walk away with a prioritised plan. Some owners do The Business Read first; most apply for coaching directly. Neither requires the other.
